You can choose to help by either donating to the seminary to Support the Daily Needs of the Seminarians, or by means of a Tax Deductible Donation to our Building Campaign, or by considering us in your Final Will and Testament.

1. Support our Seminarians

1. Donations in Support of our Seminarians (SOS) enable us to cover the daily living expenses of the seminary. It costs about $20,000 a year to maintain a seminarian, or $5,000 a week to run the seminary. This includes food, petrol, travel, electricity, etc.

Unfortunately these donations are NOT Tax Deductible and yet are expenses we need to meet.

2. Building Campaign

1. We need your support to complete the Residence and to build the seminary Chapel.

2. Donations to our Building Program will enable us to complete the Residential Block and also commence works on the Seminary Chapel and Tower. The Seminary will then truly be an Iconic feature of the landscape and a reminder that the Church is Alive and Visible too

3. Donations to the Building Program are Tax Deductible.

6. Consider us in your Last Will and Testament

Another way of helping is consider us in your Last Will and Testament.
There are a number of options for you to consider:

1. You can bequeath a Pecuniary Gift. This is a specific sum of money.

2. You can bequeath a Specific Gift. This is when you want to leave a specific item as a gift, such as a car, shares, or a property that you own.

3. You can bequeath a Residuary Gift . This is a proportion of your estate after all the other gifts and bequests have been made and debts have been paid off.

4. You can nominate us as one of your beneficiaries and bequeath an equal proportion of your residuary also to the seminary.
5. Alternatively, perhaps you are the beneficiary of someone else’s estate and would like to have this given to the seminary. In this case you could advise the trustees of your intention to directly transfer this to the seminary.
6. If you have an Existing Will, you can contact your solicitor to make an addendum or change called a Codicil.

Should you wish more information about the seminary and its needs please contact the Rector for a confidential chat.
